Have you ever been to a restaurant, and a bar manager comes over to you and asks who served your drinks? And then they proceed to place a branded napkin down with some salt or sugar and place your glass on top of it? They’re asking because they train their servers and bartenders thoroughly to enhance the customer experience at a bar.

Having a Garbage

Some customers don’t want to bother you or leave garbage on the bar. So, be sure you have a small, conveniently placed scrap basket for people to put their trash in. This will make your job easier, the bar cleaner, and give people a chance to be responsible while visiting your establishment.

Using Drink Napkins

By using personalized beverage napkins, you allow people to have napkins for personal use at the bar. Whether they’re eating or drinking, napkins will come in handy. If they end up keeping one of your customized napkins from your bar, that’s great! They may give it to someone. Napkins can be a promotion tool all on their own!

Not Having Customers Yell

A great way to enhance the customer experience at the bar is by not having any reason for them to yell. Of course, it’s always great to have loud music, but if that is the case, be sure you have a way to communicate with people, so you don’t leave them with a sore throat the next day. Also, be sure you have a way to share information with anyone who can’t verbally communicate.

Fast Service

A great way to enhance the customer experience at a bar—especially on a crowded weekend or during events—is to have fast service. No matter what, ensure you can provide this—even if it means asking your employer to have another person on staff with you because it can and will get hectic . Also, if you’re a beginner, don’t be afraid to ask for help or guidance in your field until you’re comfortable.
